Soul Motion®: Moving with Life
October 20-22, 2017
Meet us in a movement field in which we travel the landscapes of Soul Motion from alone to All One, in motion and stillness, with music and in the Great Sound of silence. You will be guided, supported, and encouraged to relax into a dance that brings you home to yourself, then takes you out to communion with another, then deep into the interconnected fabric of community, and finally off to the streets.
You are invited to this dance in all of your imperfect magnificence. Bring your light and shadow, mess and mastery. Let’s co-create a context in which we can experience together the healing power of grounded presence, open-hearted relating, and embodied devotion.
Taught by Zuza Engler & Scott Engler (CA, USA).
Polish born, Zuza lived and worked with Gestalt Awareness Practice at Esalen, California since the early 1990s where she met her husband Scott. As Vinn Arjuna Martí’s first apprentice, she became his co-teacher trainer in Soul Motion conscious dance, now also leading her own year-long trainings in Body as Living Presence in CA, USA. She teaches with humour, compassion and presence.

Gestalt Awareness Practice: Private Sessions with Zuza Engler
Lose your mind and come to your senses. –Fritz Perls
In a session with Zuza, we will slow down to show up with what is––by turning toward body and feeling; expression through movement, sound, and words; taking time and space; adding breath, kindness, and a sense of humor. In the process, you may experience discovery, surprise, heart opening, integration of loose ends from your past, or first steps toward a new future. Healing happens, but the primary aim is awareness and deepening into presence.
You can’t have a choice about what you are not in touch with. –Moshe Feldenkrais
A student writes:
“Zuza has appeared beside me to witness and comfort me in moments of despair, challenge me to go further in moments of joy, remind me of the value of contraction when I expand, encourage me to expand when I have withered, and invite me to “begin again” when I have given up. I am so very grateful to have her steadfast presence as a spiritual beacon in my life.”
