Soul Motion: Unity Inquiry
What happens in the dance room is a microcosm of what happens in the everyday dance. Soul Motion dancers practice seeing themselves and others as one essence knowing that all people desire happiness; all people wish to alleviate suffering. With consciousness of our unity as a strategy for more purposeful living, we look for those excluded from the dance and weave them in through landscapes of creative expression, relationship, and dialogue with divine nature.

This is the day. This is the moment. Now is the time. Not tomorrow! Not later, when I get things aligned in my mind/heart.
I am ever more aware of the ways in which I chase myself around the corner of memory and dreams. Hoping that eventually I am going to catch up to that irresistible image of the way things were and that spirit of the way things were, will provide ease, comfort, and peace of mind.

Thing is, that when I turn that corner often all I see is a vast expanse of waste and the dry lands of make believe; of no thing.
I think often of my beloved Jasmine. She was a companion and dear dog in my life for over ten years. I walk the way of her memory and wish that she were still around. Just the thought of her brings a lump to the throat and streams of tears. The wish of her return itself becomes bigger than life. The unseen materializes toward something that is very real. The Sprit becomes flesh and I find that I move easily in this non-material world.

It is as if the material/body and the immaterial/spirit trade places. I am in all ways a student of the soul in motion. Learning about that gap between body/spirit; between seen/unseen, as the place where soul resides. The soul in motion becomes the bridge between what *is* and what is dreamt; what is visible and what is invisible. I am reminded of Course in Miracles which suggests to me that no thing real can be threatened and that no thing unreal exists.

I call to mind the Sufi teaching of there being no thing except God; God is All there is, no thing else exists; only God.
I keep my thoughts on God and I can never be threatened. I keep my thoughts on God and move smoothly between matter and spirit; night and day. I keep my thoughts on God and I see its work everywhere and in everyone.
No exceptions! No exceptions?
Well heck, I have my work cut out for me then. What a dance to learn; that all is well and that all is God, no exceptions.

Now is the time to live this dance. Now is the time to dance this life.
Not later; NOW!
