In ongoing correspondence with practitioners of soul motion™, we have been questioning definitions and terms. We have been looking at Soul Motion™ fundamentals and ways to reach out during our dance odyssey through Soul Motion™ landscapes (Intimate, Communion, Community, and Infinite) which comprise the basis of a soul motion™ experience and present a universal road to traverse. Language and naming of, has always been a cautious road for this soul traveler.
There are varying points of view regarding description and whether the heart is highlighted in communion with one other, or in community with the all. Is there room for the vital center of erotic and sexual force in the odyssey of a soul in motion? And if so, where does it belong on the path of relations? And what about this mind thing?
When in doubt over terms of spirit speak, I go to the source and begin at the origin. Dictionary diving and deep reflection brought forward some statements in which to dangle in and, I trust, provided some clarity surrounding these matters.
In the beginning of our odyssey we look to the Intimate dance discovery of the body. Here we go, again, surveying the instrument, checking for kinks and curls and blocks and free range of limbs. It is a time for the ground to come and meet and greet through our feet. It is a time to sense the weight in place and hold gravity as an operating variable of our motion. The time spent is carefully placed in an excursion of the entire material or physical structure of this organism. Drop in and stay tuned. The shape of things to come is fully operating during our conscious attention to the nature of our changing form in motion. I AM ONE.
I have viewed the vital center of hara home, as the exclusive place to explore in communion dance dialogue. My thinking has been that to fire up the flames of creativity and conscious connection to the center of our sexual/creative force is paramount to a healthy, vibrant, and useful communion with one other. I have also, always favored communion with another to pass through the heart chambers invigorated with the vast presence of an open and fearless heart center.
That we continue this exalted Soul Motion™ odyssey from the ground up means, for me, that we do not by pass, or avoid, our heat vortex in order to arrive at the light of our heart force. My belief speaks to a passage from hara to heart that could use more of our conscious traversing. The light of the heart eventually carries sway alongside the heat of the hara. I believe, by its’ nature this is an exaltation of the power, and erotic presence which animates all soulful travelers in the everyday dance of relations. I wish to continue to cultivate a balanced practice which brings both the hara and heart to communion dialogue with another. I AM ONE WITH.
When approaching the community dance of discourse with all, there is an undeniable extension of the body, heart and hara (vital centers) projected toward the spirit of the room. This vital principle and animating force within all living things is recognized as a presence within the room to be used for empathetic and compassionate relations.
Now, the dance is exalted beyond the narcissistic and ego-driven talent toward a general atmosphere of solidarity space and a capacity to see the roundedness of the dance taking place in the orbit of our attentive shape shifting and space sifting.
We examine the totality of the movement moment. As spirit consciousness, we breathe fully; inhaling the sights and sounds, shapes and states of all we can touch, as we exhale our committed presence and attention to a non-attached projection to include the excluded.
I AM ONE WITH ALL.
Finally the infinite dances of devotion hint at the immensity of our connection to that which is immeasurable and uncontainable. This awakening to the superior mind which is our legacy and our origin brings with it a desire to go beyond the facts of any condition and sit within the truth of our vastness. Within all of us there is a dance of enormous capacity to heal and transform and communicate. This communication is centered in the one mind which connects us all through our feelings, our thoughts, and our will. It is the unveiling of the false picture of our isolation. It is the exposure to our lineage beyond race, ethnicity, or cultural norms. It is the cosmic citizen who resides in the universal mind of one dance, one power, and one presence.
