Giving in to the moment as it unfolds is a true test of surrender and a definitive display of courage. Noise swirls and static continues to accompany the journey through day to day events. Voices from all quarters of past performance and future shifts carry a “this time it will be better” notification. Yet, I remain unconvinced! Returning from Europe where I held a number of SoulMotion Experiences, I am charged with the proof that people given an opportunity to express their story, will jump on it. The role of storyteller, actor, dancer, poet, and artist are a few of the characters you and I have at our disposal to assist us in personal transformation. They are some of the ways that you and I make sense of; stay integrated, and generally understands what this life we lead is all about. It is in our best interest to stay connected to the “sense” of things. And after getting a line on the senses, to then experience what our “feelings” register. After these two passages have been travel, we can then give ourselves the luxury of “imagining” what is coming to pass. You and I are encouraged to step up and out of any useless identity we have been told about. We get to decide moment by moment what is in the best interest of our transformation and personal healing. You and I have the power to accept or reject another’s story about us. We get to measure outside input by applying this three-step process of what do I sense? What do I feel? What do I imagine? As the days turn short and the light diminishes, I trust you and I will celebrate the dark and listen in the silence for direction, encouragement, hope, and validation of who we are.
