I just returned from a Sunday Soul Motion™ Odyssey! Once again the opportunity to practice living a motion life in the Soul is presented to pray and play. All ways there becomes a space for grace to reveal itself in the dance. I remain eager and enthused at the Mystery of the next gesture and pattern of force in a field of light bodies speaking Truth.
What a ride! To accept the beginner’s status again is to begin anew in the spirit of discovery. Lay aside, for now, the History which impresses my entire relational dance and replace with the acknowledgment of so many personal stories being told with very little to do with *ME*. Am I ready to look aside at my interference with the present flow of the dance which only knows to guide and gift me with abundance? What is my part in the blockage? The thrill of the Self unattached to outcome, immune to story and standing down in the cylinder of *just this!*
I trust my practice of Soul Motion™ will continue to inform as I detach preconception. I trust my practice enlarges the circle of radical prayer and play. I am eager to jump in the mud of circular experience and begin again from the ground of where we stand and have our being. I see with the mystic eye of unity and welcome the diversity of each player and prayer. We tune our body/soul instrument and bring our song to the ensemble with the utmost confidence in our limitless and eternal dance. How may I serve?
Knowing that *this dance* will look the way it looks I now practice unattached viewing and outcome. The soul in motion leads me, again and again, to the wonder and potency of the spiral spinning the dance. It lives in all directions equally and replaces the predictability of the straight line of what’s ahead.
Thomas More speaks to the path of the soul when he states, “We are coils of possibility in constant rotation.” And so it is.
